The largest anime, manga, and game festival in Hong Kong, the "ACGHK 2024 (Hong Kong Ani-Com & Games 2024)," celebrated its 25th anniversary this year. The event was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from Friday, July 26, to Tuesday, July 30, 2024, and has concluded successfully. This time, we bring you the stage performance and behind-the-scenes interview of Saki Miyamoto and Eili, who were invited as guests to the "Asia Pacific Cosplay Carnival" (亞太區Cosplay嘉年華)!
Saki Miyamoto and Eili Appeared as Special Guests
At the Asia Pacific Cosplay Carnival, cosplayers from all over the world gathered and livened up the venue with costumes that faithfully recreated anime and game characters.
Saki Miyamoto and Eili from Japan, Clow and Ale from Spain, Tomia and Berry from South Korea, and Xiao Du (小都) and Xiao Bai (小白) from Taiwan participated.
The cosplay teams BaLance, V-Project, and iMOTiON also appeared from Hong Kong.

Saki Miyamoto and Eili Introduce Their Costumes on Stage
Eili wore an original costume with a butterfly theme, and Saki Miyamoto showcased a costume inspired by the song "Tsuki to Hoshi ga Odoru Midnight" from her favorite idol group, Hinatazaka46.

In the interview after the stage, they talked about their impressions of their first performance in Hong Kong, as well as the food they tried in Hong Kong and the spots they want to visit.

Q. This was your first event participation in Hong Kong; what was your impression?
Saki Miyamoto: So many people came, and I felt a lot of energy.
Eili: It was my first time coming to an event like this overseas, and I was very happy because everyone waved their hands so enthusiastically.
Q. Is there any food you wanted to try in Hong Kong?
Eili: Since I like sweets, I wanted to try egg tarts. I just got to have one yesterday, and it was delicious.
Saki Miyamoto: I want to try wonton noodles. I love alcohol, so I also want to try Tsingtao beer.
Q. Are there any places you want to visit in Hong Kong?
Eili and Saki Miyamoto: We want to go to Hong Kong Disneyland!
Q: Could you tell us your favorite anime character or performance you saw on stage?
Saki Miyamoto: The costume from the Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc was amazing!
Eili: SPY×FAMILY is a work I really like, so the SPY×FAMILY performance earlier was very good.
