Saiga NAK had a chance to interview Senaru right after his victory!

Q. How did you feel today?

Senaru: It was great! I'm glad I won! It's the best!

Q. You were very emotional when you won.

SENARU: I was so tired, and I couldn't sleep at all last night... (at the moment of victory) I was blown away! I'm afraid of the repercussions after that (laughs).

Q. How are you feeling with the time difference from Japan?

SENARU: I was well-prepared in Japan, but I couldn't sleep at all here due to jet lag.... Yesterday I was in bed for about 11 hours, but I could only sleep for about 2 hours.

Saiga NAK

Q. Did you hear cheers of "Reload! during the combo?

SENARU: Of course! It was a good thing that I didn't miss too many combos. It was a very enjoyable experience.

Q. How have you been practicing since EVO Japan 2024?

SENARU: I played online almost every day, and once or twice a week I went to an offline tournament. I was confident that I had done a lot of practice.

Q. Did you have any impressive opponents, including in the qualifying rounds?

SENARU: I had a good match against Rikir during the tournament, and I remember losing to him at EVO 2019, so I was very conscious of that. I'm glad I managed to win and advance in the tournament.

Q. What is your next goal?

SENARU: My next goal is the "ARC World Tour 2024". I will practice hard again!

Q. Congratulations again on your victory!

SENARU: Thank you very much!
