JAPANNEXT is an LCD monitor manufacturer that bears the name "JAPAN". The high cost performance of these products is remarkable. But why are they so cheap? However, there are some who ask, "Why is it so cheap? While Saiga NAK also featured product information, the actual situation was shrouded in mystery. Then we heard that JAPANNEXT was holding its first press conference since its establishment, so we went to the conference! We had a chance to experience products such as a 31.5-inch 6K monitor and a 3-in-1 wireless charger, which were unveiled for the first time, so let us introduce them to you!
Sneaking into JAPANNEXT's first press conference!
We sneaked into the press conference of JAPANNEXT, a company that sells a huge number of monitors! JAPANNEXT is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, but this is the first time for the company to hold such an event for the media. First, Representative Director Becker Samuel took the stage.
Mr. Samuel, who grew up in the south of France, was fascinated by Japanese culture such as video games and anime from an early age. He was initially involved in the import and export of electronics products, but he sold the business in 2015 with the funds he raised to start JAPANNEXT. With the funds, he founded JAPANNEXT.
JAPANNEXT plans, manufactures, and sells LCD monitors, and currently has more than 600 products in total. In 2024 alone, the company has developed at a threatening pace, announcing 166 products.
We have developed many products ranging from large 98-inch monitors to high refresh rate monitors, mobile monitors, and camera-equipped monitors. In addition to accessories such as monitor lights and monitor arms, the company also sells unusual products such as dual mobile displays.
Sales have increased tenfold in the last five years as a result of three initiatives: high value-added products, a flexible development and support system, and the proposal of unknown experiences. Sales are also increasing at mass retailers and e-commerce sites, and we have grown to the third place in the entire market (according to JAPANNEXT). JAPANNEXT aims to create a world where everyone can have a desk environment that is just right for them.
The headquarters of JAPANNEXT is located in Isumi City, Chiba Prefecture. The gymnasium was converted into a warehouse, and the music room into a relaxing space.
And then..! A surprise announcement was made of a sponsorship agreement with the professional gaming team "DetonatioN FocusMe. They are also eager to develop joint products, details of which will be revealed at a later date.
The company is also cooperating with e-sports teams and e-sports related facilities throughout Japan. In addition, as a sponsor, we are providing monitors to the France Pavilion at the current Osaka/Kansai Expo.

A monitor based on " Light Field (LF) " technology was also exhibited for reference at the exhibition. This is a monitor that can express reflections, with metallic parts of the image shimmering when it is shaken from side to side. Since it is necessary to prepare images in a dedicated format, it is not likely to be widely used by the general public, but it is likely to be in great demand for corporate use at exhibitions and museums.
Keep an eye on the future development of JAPANNEXT, which sells a wide variety of products, from monitors that emphasize cost performance to professional monitors that use the latest technology!
Extra
We also received a bamboo tumbler as a souvenir. It is not for sale, and was produced not at the reckless request of Mr. Samuel, who is a nature lover, but at his ardent request. The surface has the texture of bamboo, but the inside is stainless steel, which is excellent at keeping the temperature and keeping the drinks cool.
