Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. announced that the finalists for the "eFootball" division of the "National Prefectural eSports Championship 2024 SAGA," which will be held on Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15, 2024, have been decided. At the venue, a kick target challenge with professional soccer player Paulo Junichi Tanaka, community matches and squad diagnoses with famous eFootball players, and more are planned.
Who Will Be Crowned Japan's Best? The Players for the eFootball Division of the National Prefectural eSports Championship 2024 SAGA Have Been Decided
The "National Prefectural eSports Championship 2024 SAGA" will be held at SAGA Arena in Saga Prefecture on Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15, 2024. It's a national esports tournament where representatives who have won qualifiers from various parts of Japan will compete for the championship across four titles. The players for "eFootball," one of the competition titles, have been decided. A total of 10 players will participate: 8 representatives from Hokkaido, Kanagawa Prefecture, Saitama Prefecture, and Yamaguchi Prefecture, who advanced through the prefectural representative tournament (4 rounds), plus 2 representatives from Saga Prefecture, the host prefecture. The 5th round and semifinals will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, and the final will be held on Sunday, December 15.
During the tournament, audience participation events that spectators can enjoy have also been confirmed! A kick target challenge with professional soccer player Paulo Junichi Tanaka, who is also popular as an influencer, community matches and squad diagnoses with famous eFootball players, and the appearance of Egashira 2:50 as a presenter for the awards ceremony are planned.
