The Shadowverse Invitational 2024 invites only star players who were active in the Shadowverse competitive scene in 2023.
Twenty-four powerhouses gathered from events such as the RAGE SHADOWVERSE PRO TOUR and the Shadowverse Grand Master Finals.
Advancing to the finals were Riza, an amateur who performed well in the Shadowverse Grand Master Finals, and AXIZ / Rumoi, a professional member of AXIZ in the RAGE SHADOWVERSE PRO TOUR.
The match became a mirror match configuration where both sides prepared Forestcraft, Dragoncraft, and Runecraft decks.
In the first match, which was a Forestcraft showdown, AXIZ / Rumoi showed steady gameplay with a lethal on the 7th turn to take the lead.
However, Riza suppressed the following second and third matches to move to match point for the championship.

Riza: I was so nervous that my heart felt like it was coming out of my throat, and my play was a mess. I am glad I somehow managed to win.
Q. The last match was a fierce battle where victory seemed visible many times.
Riza: It was painful. I even lost track of what was left in my deck. I am happy because I won in the end.
In addition to the original championship trophy, Riza, who achieved victory, was presented with the only pure gold card in the world: Arisa, Evergreen Arrow (Unevolved).

At the end of the tournament, the producer, Yuito Kimura, announced further news regarding the Shadowverse World Championship.
The Shadowverse World Championship Online Qualifier, a tournament for the final participation slot of the Shadowverse World Championship, is scheduled to be held in early 2025.
