The Tottori eSports Association and the Nigerian eSports Association announced that the eSports event " TNED2021 " will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at "ENVIVO@Lagos, Nigeria".
This will be the "world's first e-sports event to be held in both Japan and Africa.
Bridging Japan and Africa through e-sports
In March this year, the Tottori eSports Association, the Nigerian eSports Association, and the African eSports Federation formed a strategic alliance to exchange views on the development of eSports in Japan and Nigeria, with the aim of "developing eSports in both countries" and" solving global social issues. The two organizations will work together to "develop eSports in both countries" and " solve social issues around the world ".
Based on "TNED2021," the event will share culture, experience, information, networks, human resources, and skills through e-sports, and build a relationship and bridge between Japan and Africa, which will be a step toward borderless e-sports.
On the day of the event, a representative of the Tottori eSports Association will travel to Nigeria to host the event, connecting Nigeria and Japan online.
