CAPCOM vs. SNK MILLENNIUM FIGHT 2000 PRO (2D Fighting Game)
Commonly known as "Capcom vs. SNK," this title is the final version of "CAPCOM vs. SNK MILLENNIUM FIGHT 2000," the monumental first crossover work between CAPCOM and SNK, and began operation in arcades in 2001. At the time, 2D fighting games from Capcom and SNK were rivals, and arcades were filled with games from both companies, creating factions of Capcom fans and SNK fans. When these two companies announced a crossover, it felt like the entire arcade scene came together. You can enjoy familiar characters like Ryu, Kyo, Chun-Li, and Mai participating across company boundaries!
With the release of the current-gen port of "SNK VS. CAPCOM SVC CHAOS" from SNK this July, it answered the prayers of gamers who were expecting, "Is a Capcom vs. SNK port coming too!?"
CAPCOM vs. SNK 2: MARK OF THE MILLENNIUM 2001 (2D Fighting Game)
Commonly known as "Capcom vs. SNK 2," this fighting game began operation in arcades in 2001 as the second installment in the CAPCOM and SNK crossover series "VS. SNK." It features matchups not seen in the previous title, with Maki from "Final Fight 2," Rock Howard from "Garou: Mark of the Wolves," and Kyosuke Kagami from "Project Justice" joining the roster.
It's been 22 years since professional gamer Tokido (@tokidoki77) won EVO 2002, and many have likely been eagerly awaiting a port.
CAPCOM FIGHTING EVOLUTION (2D Fighting Game)
This fighting game, which began operation in arcades in 2004, brings together five Capcom 2D fighting games and features a "Switch Tag System," allowing players to select two characters and choose one at the end of each round. The unique characters, who are the faces of each respective title, battle based on the game systems of their original appearances, allowing players to enjoy strategies beyond just the characters!
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper (2D Fighting Game)
This fighting game, which began operation in arcades in 2001, is based on the "Street Fighter Alpha 3" arcade board with home console elements ported over, adding new characters such as Dee Jay and Guile. The game system, called ISM, allows players to enjoy various fighting styles even with the same character.
While the original "Street Fighter Alpha 3" was ported in "Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection," additional characters, Shin Akuma, and Final M. Bison were not playable, so it feels like "finally...!"
Project Justice (3D Fighting Game)
This fighting game began operation in arcades in 2000. Characters were added from the previous title, Project Justice, allowing three characters to be selected at once, and the cooperative Party-Up technique, where three characters attack simultaneously, became available.
Power Stone (3D Action Fighting Game)
This action fighting game began operation in arcades in 1999. By collecting Power Stones in a 3D field, characters can transform and unleash powerful moves.
In addition to Power Stones, many other items are scattered across the stages, so collecting and effectively utilizing them is key!
Power Stone 2 (3D Action Fighting Game)
As a sequel to "Power Stone," this action fighting game began operation in arcades in 2000. It evolved from 1v1 to a 4-player battle royale, and in addition to Power Stones that lead to power-ups, new stages were added, further expanding the range of strategies.
Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein (3D Fighting Game)
This fighting game began operation in arcades in 1998. In addition to attack controls like vertical slash, horizontal slash, and kick, you can enjoy unique 3D fighting game tactics such as sidesteps and pursuit attacks!
