During the online event, LEVEL5 VISION 2026 II: Dreams, hosted by LEVEL5 Inc., the company announced that Professor Layton and the Curious Village Remake will release in 2027!
In the unveiled teaser trailer, familiar characters including Professor Layton and Luke, as well as the town setting of the story, have evolved with vibrant detail.
Supported platforms are Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Steam.
In tandem with the trailer, LEVEL5 also launched the official Professor Layton and the Curious Village Remake website.
Investigating an Incident Entangled in a Wealthy Baron's Inheritance!
Story Overview
The tale begins as Professor Layton, a true English gentleman and famous archeologist, drives to the remote settlement of St. Mystere with his apprentice, Luke, in response to a request from the widow of a wealthy baron.
The baron's will indicates that the family treasure, the Golden Apple, is hidden somewhere within the village, and whoever finds it will inherit the whole of the Reinhold Estate.
The Professor and Luke must search the town for clues leading to the precious heirloom.
