SNK Corporation has announced " METAL SLUG ULTIMATE COLLECTION," a compilation title commemorating the 30th anniversary of the " METALSLUG " series.
It is scheduled for release in 2027 on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
"METAL SLUG ULTIMATE COLLECTION," the ultimate compilation featuring all past titles, is set for release!
The " METAL SLUG " series, a side-scrolling action shooter that debuted as an arcade title in 1996 and will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026.
Many gamers will surely remember its smooth, detailed pixel art, the exhilarating action of blasting enemies away with a variety of weapons, and iconic voice lines like “Heavy Machine Gun!”
Now, the definitive edition—featuring all the titles in the “METAL SLUG” series, which has been beloved by fans around the world for so many years—is set to be released.
It includes a total of 10 titles—the largest collection in the series’ history!
"METAL SLUG ULTIMATE COLLECTION" will include the following 10 titles:
