The Colleg“e”Project is an initiative aimed at contributing to the development of the Japanese esports industry by REIGNITE collaborating with esports organizations related to universities and vocational schools.
Specific activities include livening up the esports community by conducting collaborative activities involving professional players and providing team management know-how, allowing students and related communities to experience a sense of success through esports.
The organizations currently in partnership include the following as follows:
- Waseda Esports Circle (WEC)
- University of Tsukuba Esports Team (OWLS)
- Tohoku Gakuin University Esports Circle (TGG)
- Hosei University Esports Circle (HAZE)
- Kanazawa Institute of Technology KIT Esports Project
This partnership brings the total to five organizations.
REIGNITE has conveyed the fun and possibilities of esports to many students by providing various support for partnered student organizations, including:
- Sponsorship and management support for student-planned events
- Dispatching rostered players to student events
- Acceptance of student interns
It is expected that these activities will liven up the student esports scene and, by extension, the entire esports world.
REIGNITE stated that they want many student esports organizations to participate in the project in order to continue livening up the student esports community.
Those in charge of university or vocational school-related esports organizations who are interested in esports should consider making an inquiry.
Please see the Colleg“e”Project official website for details such as inquiry information.
REIGNITE Comments
REIGNITE has recently partnered with the Kanazawa Institute of Technology KIT Esports Project through the Colleg“e”Project.
We have been involved through tournament sponsorship and other means for some time and were impressed by the ambitious attitude of the KIT Esports Project, and we are sincerely happy to be able to form a partnership once again.
As an official organization of the Kanazawa Institute of Technology, although the KIT Esports Project is a young organization just one year since its establishment, they are conducting various activities from competitive play and event planning to regional contribution, and they are an organization from which further development is expected in the future.
While cooperating with each other and the KIT Esports Project, we will also aim for further growth.
