HoYoverse announced that the urban fantasy action RPG Zenless Zone Zero Ver.1.1 Undercover R&B will be released on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
Ver.1.1 will unlock new content, including an additional story and new agents.
Various events will also be held, offering luxurious rewards.
Ver.1.1 "Undercover R&B" Will Be Released on Wednesday, August 14, 2024!
The release of "Zenless Zone Zero" Ver.1.1 "Undercover R&B" is confirmed for Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
The latest trailer for Ver.1.1 has also been released alongside the announcement.
In Ver.1.1, the three characters—Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, and Seth—will use their wisdom and courage to confront the Mountain Lion Gang. With the help of the mysterious figure Jane, however, they will repeatedly evade pursuit from the Public Security Department.
In the newly unlocked special theater, "Undercover R&B," players will control Jane to travel throughout New Eridu, carry out missions, and unravel the connection between her and the New Eridu Public Security Department.
Additionally, filter and selfie features have been added, allowing for a more diverse and stylish gaming experience.
New Playable Characters
Qingyi
Qingyi is an S-Rank Electric-Type Stun agent capable of quickly accumulating Stun value.
When dealing Electric damage, Qingyi accumulates Flash Connect Voltage, and upon reaching a certain value, she can unleash more powerful attacks.
For Zhu Yuan, an already existing character, Qingyi is not only a reliable partner within the Bureau but also a powerful combat ally.
Jane Doe
Jane is an S-Rank Physical-Type Anomaly agent who acts as both an enemy and an ally to Proxies.
By accumulating Passion Stream, Jane enters the Passion state, allowing her to deal large amounts of damage with high-frequency multi-hit attacks while rapidly accumulating Status Ailment value.
However, before joining the team, Jane was an executive of the Mountain Lion Gang, making her a formidable foe to Proxies.
Having the agile Jane as an ally would be reassuring, but as an enemy, she would be quite troublesome.
Seth Lowell
Seth is an A-Rank Electric-Type Defense agent capable of placing shields on team members. His weapon can also transform into a greatsword to overwhelm enemies.
Additionally, a new S-Rank Bangboo, Officer Cui, has been added. He will be a source of strength for Proxies during Hollow exploration.
New Content
In addition to updating the Transport Defense Battle cycle, new content called Inferno Reap will be added in Ver.1.1.
By clearing Withering Garden and completing the related missions, players can unlock a limited-time challenge that leads to a direct confrontation with Nineveh.
Players can attempt the challenge an unlimited number of times and earn various in-game rewards.
Events
By completing event missions during the Ver.1.1 theme event Camellia Golden Week, players can obtain rewards such as the following:
- Polychrome
- A-Rank W-Engine
- Various Materials
Other in-game events, including Immersive Tactical Drill and First-Class Customer Service, will also be held.
