ASUS Japan Inc. has announced the ROG Swift PG35VQ, a 35-inch ultra-wide HDR gaming monitor with a curved display.
35-inch 21:9 high-resolution display
The ROG Swift PG35VQ features a 35" ultra-wide QHD panel with a high resolution of 3440 x 1440 and a high pixel density of 109ppi.
This allows the panel to display the most delicate expressions in games, movies, and other media.
In addition, an overclocked refresh rate of up to 200 Hz and a fast response time of 2 ms enable smooth video expression despite the large screen size.
The display has an aspect ratio of 21:9, which provides 35% more on-screen space than WQHD.
Technology for beautiful video expression
The ROG Swift PG35VQ is packed with technology for more beautiful images.
Full Array Local Dimming (FALD) LED backlighting, dynamically controlled across 512 independent zones, achieves a peak accuracy of up to 1,000 nits in each zone with the DisplayHDR 1000 standard.
Quantum dot technology is used for color representation. 90% coverage of DCI-P3, the color gamut standard for digital cinema; DCI-P3 covers a wider color gamut than sRGB.
NVIDIA G-SYNC Ultimate technology. Provides the best HDR gaming experience by supporting each function.
Attention to more than just video expression
The ROG Swift PG35VQ not only offers the best video expression, but also ASUS' advanced technology and attention to detail.
The ROG Swift PG35VQ is equipped with "SMART Fan Control" to efficiently cool the full-array backlight with high-brightness LEDs, which can easily generate heat. This feature, developed through ASUS' tried-and-true process with ROG products, automatically sets the correct fan speed to maintain ideal temperatures without excessive fan speed and unnecessary noise.
Aura Sync is included, allowing the lighting system to synchronize with other Aura Sync-compatible devices.
In addition to the ROG logo on the back, there is a light on the bottom of the stand that can project the ROG logo on the desk.
There is no compromise on sound either, with the ESS 9018 DA converter (DAC), a single-chip audio processor with 4-bit/96 kHz lossless playback. Sound distortion is minimized and reproduced with dynamics and overwhelming sound pressure.

The ROG Swift PG35VQ is equipped with a number of features to make game play more comfortable.
"GAMEPLUS" displays crosshairs, timers, FPS counters, and display alignment on the screen.
"GAMEVISUAL" allows the user to select the optimal display mode for the game title from six presets.
It also has a function to reduce flicker and blue light, which can cause eye fatigue and reduce the burden of playing games for a long time.
