Shichijo Ganshundo, a long-established Kyoto confectioner founded in 1865, presents its fourth batch of refreshing summer Kyoto sweets featuring Pokémon! After the online pre-sale and lottery sales on June 17, 2024 (Mon.) at the official website of Shichijo Ganshundo, the Kyoto Main Store and Kitasenju Marui Store will start selling the sweets in their stores on June 29, 2024 (Sat.). The "Pokémon Kami-gashi Summer" will be sold only by lottery.

Shichijo Ganshundo, founded in 1865, will release Pokemon-themed Kyoto-style confections! In this fourth installment of the "Pokemon Kyo-gashi" series, Pokemon associated with summer events will appear in the form of Kami-nagashi, Fuyaki, and Yo-kan.

Zenigame, Jirachi, Kachikoa, and Doo appear as josegashi! Kami-gashi is a confectionery that expresses the four seasons and waka poems using techniques cultivated in the tradition of Japanese confectionery. Using water from Higashiyama in Kyoto and high-quality ingredients, Shichijo Ganshundo's josei-gashi are handmade one by one by our craftsmen.
Only those who win the lottery can purchase the sweets in-store (Kyoto Main Store and Kitasenju Marui Store). Please check the lottery sales application form.

Pokemon fuyaki summer (3 pieces)
Lizardon, Pikachu, Chirin, Jirachi, and summer scenes and events in Kyoto are represented in the fuyaki sembei. Fuyaki sembe is a sweet sembe made from glutinous rice and baked one by one to give it a gentle texture. The pictures are painstakingly handwritten by artisans.

Pokemon Kamigami Sweets Summer Lottery Sale
Only "Pokemon Kami-gashi Summer" will be sold by lottery at the Kyoto Main Store and Kitasenju Marui Store. Since the number of sweets produced per day is limited, the lottery will be held on five separate days. Winners will be asked to visit either the Kyoto Main Store or the Kitasenju Marui Store to make their purchases.
