ASUS Japan, Inc. announces the ROG Crosshair VIII Impact, a Mini-DTX model for gamers with Wi-Fi 6 support that delivers the power of 3rd generation Ryzen in a smaller but superior layout.

The ROG Crosshair VIII series Crosshair VIII Impact is a Mini-DTX ready for the latest 3rd generation AMD Ryzen CPUs with features like advanced power delivery and cooling, dual M.2, next generation Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), onboard The Crosshair VIII Impact is ideal for building a small gaming PC that rivals full-size motherboards like the ATX.
Impact to Mini-ITX standard!
When a Mini-ITX-compliant small PC case also supports dual-slot graphics cards, the PC case must have enough space to prevent interference. Therefore, the space is made to be trimmed down for miniaturization, but due to the specifications, it becomes unused space. The ROG Crosshair VIII Impact can take advantage of this unused space to further enhance the performance of a space-saving PC.
Calculated Cooling Design
"ROG Crosshair VIII Impact" features a cooling design that combines dual custom Delta Super Flow fans and heatsinks for the VRM and chipset in addition to an optimized power design. A full-size aluminum plate with heat pipes on the rear side enhances the cooling effect.
The ProCool II socket is built to exacting specifications to ensure contact with the PSU power lines and has metal armor for improved heat dissipation. In addition, the connector's low impedance prevents hot spots and improves reliability.
The VRM consists of 8 + 2 TDA21472 power stages, each stage rated at 70 amps.
Each power stage is supplied with a high permeability alloy core choke capable of handling 45 amps.
Metal capacitor input and output filtering is provided by solid polymer capacitors that last for thousands of hours at high operating temperatures.
DOUBLE-CAPACITY DIMM support
Features a unique memory trace design that supports up to 32GB per slot for a total memory capacity of 64GB.
Supports the next-generation Wi-Fi 6 standard
Onboard Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) support improves network capacity and performance in high-density Wi-Fi environments by providing ultra-fast networking speeds, enabling convenient wireless connectivity for online gaming.

"ROG Crosshair VIII Impact" will be released on October 11, 2019 and is already available on Amazon and Rakuten, with an open price.
