ACGHK 2026 (also known as Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong 2026) ran from Friday, July 24, to Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
This time, we bring you coverage of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (hereafter, Pokémon TCG) booth and the AEON Card booth!
The Pokémon TCG Booth, a Massive Hit in Hong Kong!
The Pokémon TCG is wildly popular for both battling and collecting. It is a smash-hit trading card game that continues to captivate fans worldwide across borders and generations.
Eager fans packed the booth all day long!
Inside the booth, staff sold the highly anticipated Traditional Chinese Tactical Card Set (戰術牌組), which launched on Friday, July 17, 2026.
Purchases were limited to one of each item per person.
The booth also featured a New Trainer Journey trial corner.
In addition to enjoying free Pokémon TCG battles, participants received promotional items like card packs and individual cards.
At the trial corner, fans of all ages—ranging from kids to adults—enjoyed Pokémon TCG battles.
AEON Card Booth Offers Pokémon Card Packs to New Applicants
Next up is the booth for AEON Credit Service (AEON信貸財務), a financial services company well known in Japan with a major presence in Hong Kong.
AEON is a popular credit card brand among young people.
At the booth, AEON ran a special campaign where anyone who newly applied for an AEON Card received a random Pokémon Card expansion pack: Mega Brave (M1L), Inferno X (M2), or Ninja Spinner (M4).
It served as another clear reminder of just how popular Pokémon cards are in Hong Kong.
Furthermore, TCG fever in Hong Kong extends far beyond the ACGHK venue itself.
Spearheaded by Hong Kong celebrity Derek Cheung (@khdcheung), the world's largest TCG hub, Hong Kong Trading Card Game Platform (HKTCG), (@hktcg.isquare) opened at iSQUARE in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, on Saturday, July 4, 2026!
Boasting a floor area of roughly 22,000 square feet, it has been drawing immense attention.
This booth report perfectly captures the unprecedented boom currently sweeping the Hong Kong trading card market!
