EVO Japan 2023, a fighting game festival, has entered its second day! In this issue, we will take a look at the booths of Victrix, Sanwa Denshi, and hitBOX, which offer a wide range of devices centered on arcade controllers! In addition, we will also report on the Arcade Museum, where rare and famous machines are lined up.
Victrix Booth
Exhibit booth of Victrix, which sells gaming accessories for professionals.
A quick shot of Chocoblanka (@chocoblanka) of Shinobi-ism Gaming. He was signing autographs on the 1st and 2nd days.
One-of-a-kind Akebono game console in the world! Laser engraving service was available only at the event.
The "Pro BFG Controller" and "Pro FS/12 Arcade Controller," which will finally be released in Japan, were sold exclusively at the event! The Pro FS was sold out on the first day.
Sanwa Denshi Booth
Sanwa Denshi, a regular at EVO Japan, will be participating again this year!
Sanwa Denshi is known for its Ace-Controllers...but not Ace-Controller parts. There were a lot of levers and buttons.
Why don't you take the first step to make your own Akebono?
hitBOX Booth
hitBOX, which has been rapidly gaining recognition in recent years, also exhibited at EVO Japan 2023. It made the leverless arcade controller a household name.
Daigo Umehara (@daigothebeastJP) is signing autographs every day at the booth. The line is one of the longest in the entire booth.
A lot of famous machines! Akebono Museum
The Ace-Controller Museum features a wide range of classic machines, from vintage models such as the Neo Geo Arcade Stick and Namco Joystick to the latest models from Victrix and hitBOX.
Many fighting gamers were reminiscing and talking with these arcade game consoles.
