Main Stage
The opening ceremony on the main stage of Taipei Game Show 2024 started around 10:00 a.m. on the first day of the show. First, Peng Shuang-Nan, President of the Taipei Computer Association, and Lee Huai-Jen, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, took the stage to deliver opening remarks.
The Indie Game Award 2024, one of Asia's largest indie game awards, was presented to the winners in nine categories from titles created by game studios around the world.

Nominated for two awards at The Game Awards 2023, "Viewfinder" is an adventure game that allows players to reconstruct reality by materializing objects captured with an instant camera. The game tests your ability to think flexibly in an unrealistic world. It is available from the Steam store.
Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony Interactive Entertainment Indie Initiative, also took the stage at the ceremony to congratulate the winners.
