We interviewed iKARi(@TK_iKARi ), the winner of the main tournament " Tekken 8 " at the fighting game festival " EVO Japan 2026 " held at Tokyo Big Sight from May 1 (Fri) to 3 (Sun), 2026!
Interview with iKARi, the winner of the Tekken 8 division!
- Once again, what are your impressions?
iKARi: I'm so happy to have made it this far, I don't really feel it yet (laughs).
- What do you plan to do with the prize money?
iKARi: I will be moving to Korea soon, so I would like to use the money for that!
- What has changed in the past year compared to last year?
iKARi: Practice has helped me a lot. I think the difference from last year is that my basic technical skills have improved thanks to KRX's support.
- After the reset, you seemed to be able to handle Knee's moves better.
iKARi: I thought that if I continued with the same style, I might lose the game, so I changed my style to overcome that. I dared to slow down the rhythm of the attack, and it worked out well.
- What is your next goal?
iKARi: My next goal is to win the "Tekken World Tour 2026"!
