GENDA Inc., known for operating the "GiGO" game centers and renting amusement machines, announced the acquisition of Ontsu Co., Ltd., which handles the rental and sale of karaoke equipment, through a tender offer.

GENDA already holds Shin Corporation, which operates "Karaoke BanBan," under its umbrella, and collaboration aimed at creating synergy is expected with Ontsu, which seeks to improve the user experience through the distribution of karaoke equipment.

By acquiring the Ontsu Group, GENDA expects the following:

• Promotion of equipment introduction by the Ontsu Group to Karaoke BanBan
• Economies of scale in the nightlife market
• Expansion of the network and increase in the number of units handled due to roll-up M&A of competitors
