SNK Corporation released an update for the popular 3-on-3 team battle game, KOF XV, on Thursday, July 2, 2026. The update includes balance adjustments for all 61 characters, such as base characters Kyo Kusanagi, K', Ash Crimson, and Shun'ei, as well as Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Mature, and Vice. Take this opportunity to try out characters you haven't played before.

The update also includes balance adjustments for Jumping Blow Back and Advance Strike. While the developers increased the combo correction value for Jumping Blow Back, they decreased the value for Advance Strike.
The team also implemented several system adjustments. Using the Block function will now prevent you from matching with blocked players in Rank Matches and Casual Matches. Room Matches and Online Training remain unaffected.
Additionally, SNK improved the connection speed search filter in Rank Matches and Casual Matches. This ensures smoother matching with opponents that meet your criteria.
