KONAMI eSports Academy, operated by Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd., has announced that it will begin recruiting for a 3-year program starting in fiscal year 2025.
By partnering with Daiichi Gakuin High School, it aims to become an educational facility where students can learn to balance esports and academic studies.
Introducing a 3-Year Program to KONAMI eSports Academy
KONAMI eSports Academy was established by Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. in March 2023.
Taking over from its predecessor, esports Ginza school, it has been offering a one-year short-term study course as a curriculum for those aiming to become professional esports players.
This KONAMI eSports Academy has announced a business transition to a 3-year program as a support school for Daiichi Gakuin High School starting in fiscal year 2025.
By refining skills over more time through classroom learning and practical experience, it aims to foster human resources who can handle a wide range of fields, not limited to the esports industry.
Student Recruitment for Fiscal Year 2025 Begins in June
KONAMI eSports Academy will offer the Daiichi Gakuin High School eSports Course starting with the fiscal year 2025 enrollees.
The base for learning will be the facilities inside the KONAMI headquarters.
The practical skills room is equipped with 40 high-spec gaming PCs, gaming monitors, and gaming chairs, as well as high-speed internet lines, making the environment perfect!
The lecture room for classroom learning has a bright and open design, allowing students to learn while relaxing.

Professional Debut Through Joint Tryouts!?
Once a year, Joint Tryouts are held where professional esports teams judge the students' skills and enthusiasm.
Successful candidates can belong to a professional team as trainees for a certain period and experience a special program.
Absorbing knowledge and experience from professional esports players will undoubtedly be useful for career paths after graduation!
KONAMI eSports Academy is currently holding open schools sequentially.
Free trial lessons by instructors belonging to professional esports teams are also conducted, so if you are interested in esports, please experience the open school at the KONAMI headquarters building.
