Raiatto Games, LLC has released an outline and schedule for the League of Legends Japan League 20 24 Spring Split (LJL 2024 Spring Split), a professional league in Japan that will begin on January 20, 2024 (Saturday). The LJL 2024 Spring Split will be played between the top three teams to advance to the PCS playoffs.


The "LJL 2024 Spring Split" regular season will follow a BO2 double round robin format. All teams will play a round-robin twice, with the winning team receiving 3 points, a tie giving both teams 1 point, and the losing team receiving 0 season points. Rankings will be determined by total season points.


The top four teams advance to the LJL playoffs, where they will play in a BO5 single-elimination format. The winning team in the finals will become the "LJL 2024 Spring Split" champion and advance to the PCS playoffs with the second and third place teams.


The regular season starts on January 20 and ends on February 18.

The format of the LJL has changed every year for the past several years, but for the "LJL 2024 Spring Split," each team will play two matches every Saturday and Sunday. It will be great to see all the teams play on LJL days. Since this is a BO2 tournament with draws, it is unlikely that there will be any major discrepancies in match times.


Playoffs begin on February 24.

The LJL Playoffs, in which the top four teams of the regular season advance, will be held over four days with two semifinals, a third-place game, and the final match.
