Sony Network Communications Inc. has launched a new option for its high-speed optical fiber service "NURO HIKARI", "PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Japanese Only for NURO". The new service is available for 980 yen (including tax) if you apply for the service at the same time, and there is also a campaign to win PlayStation 5 (PS5) related prizes.

PlayStation 5 Digital Edition for NURO", a monthly optional service of "NURO Hikari", is a service that allows users to use PS5 in a lease format.
With the renewal of the service, the price has been reduced to 1,500 yen per month (tax included) for the duration of the three-year contract.
In addition to the 1-year manufacturer's warranty, a 2-year extended warranty service is also included.

The option fee is actually 980 yen per month (including tax), since 520 yen (including tax) will be discounted from the basic monthly fiber-optic line fee every month for 3 years.
