The Japanese team " INSOMNIA " won the "Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2025 FINALS" (PUACL2025 FINALS) held in Shinjuku on March 29 and 30, 2025. The team, "INSOMNIA" from Japan, won the championship. Preliminary leagues were held throughout Asia from November 2024, and the 16 winning teams competed for the title of Asian champion in Shinjuku.
The Japanese team "INSOMNIA" started the Japan League in 7th place, but grew as the league progressed, finishing in 3rd place and advancing to the finals of the PUACL 2025 FINALS. The team went on to win the final against the 2023 tournament champions, Alter Ego, in a hard-fought battle to be crowned Asian champions.
