There is very little of 2025 remaining. Many of you are likely planning numerous events, such as traveling or returning to your hometowns. While various masterpiece games were born in 2025, some of these works were modeled after various regions in Japan. Learning about a country or region through games or anime, and then walking through that land with your own feet for a holy land pilgrimage, is one of the true pleasures after clearing a game, isn't it? Fumihiro Sato, the president of XM Kabushiki Kaisha, stated that while enhancing the experience value for visitors to Japan, it is important to strive for harmony with local culture and daily life. He said they will work to make tourism a force that supports the future of the region by disseminating the regional charms of Yamanashi Prefecture, such as its rich nature and history, to domestic and international audiences through influencers and by connecting these results to the next phase of development.

Tourism Connects the Future of the Region

While measures to attract tourists from Japan and abroad are being implemented for regional revitalization to counter issues like regional depopulation, troubles with local residents and manners are being viewed as problems. By understanding the unique culture and characteristics of each region through this initiative, it will not only mitigate risks but also increase the enjoyment of walking through the land.

We will continue to keep an eye on future initiatives by the Committee for the Promotion of Orderly Inbound Tourism as they disseminate regional charms from various angles while deepening cooperation with local communities.
