The first numbering game to feature characters from other IPs
Street Fighter characters from other IPs, such as "MARVEL VS. CAPCOM" and "CAPCOM VS. SNK" in the Versus series, have collaborated with and competed against other IPs. Oni" in Bandai Namco's "Tekken 7", but this is the first time that a character from another IP has participated in a numbered Street Fighter series title.
This is a big news in the history of fighting games. SNK's new "FATAL FURY" title, "FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves," is scheduled for release in 2025 after a 26-year absence, and we can imagine that the fighting game scene will be abuzz with excitement.
Although only a movie of the game was shown at this announcement, I am still looking forward to the gameplay trailers that will be released one after another in the future. The trailer for "M.Bison" will be released on YouTube at midnight on June 9 (Japan time), so be sure to check it out.
