Ed Joins Street Fighter 6!

Tuesday, February 27, 2024, saw the implementation of Ed, the Year 1 additional character wave 3, via an update to Street Fighter 6.
He will appear and be playable in three modes: World Tour, Battle Hub, and Fighting Ground.

Ed is a young commander who first appeared in the previous title, Street Fighter V.
He has a past of being captured as research material by S.I.N, which has ties to Shadaloo, but since being rescued by Balrog, he seeks to help others in the same situation as part of Neo Shadaloo.

Characterized by delivering heavy blows using Psycho Power obtained during experiments—for better or worse—and a boxing style inherited from Balrog.
While he appeared in the previous title as a character with a very easy-to-use, special control method, those control feelings have been integrated into the Modern Controls of Street Fighter 6.
Since adjustments seem to require command inputs in Classic Controls, it looks like we will see a new side of Ed.
