At "The Game Awards 2024," a game awards ceremony held in Los Angeles, USA, "Clive Rosfield" (hereafter, Clive) from "FINAL FANTASY XVI" (hereafter, FF16) was announced as the fourth additional character for "Tekken 8"!
A gameplay trailer has been released alongside the announcement.
"Tekken 8" and "FF16" Collaborate! Clive Joins the Fight!
A collaboration between "Tekken 8" and "FF16" was announced, along with Clive's participation.
Alongside the announcement, an approximately four-minute "Clive Rosfield" gameplay trailer was released.
Clive, the Shield of the Undying Flame, is the protagonist of "FF16" and is pursuing the Dark Eikon Ifrit to avenge his brother.
Now, Clive joins the world of Tekken 8!
Clive will not only use his swordsmanship but also abilities like Ifrit's fire element, and his companion Torgal also appears.
Master the Eikons and overwhelm your enemies!
Additional Battle Stage Too!
Along with Clive's participation, an additional battle stage, "PHOENIX GATE," will appear.
PHOENIX GATE, the sacred ritual ground that greatly changed Clive's destiny, also features Ifrit in the background.
Let's engage in intense battles at PHOENIX GATE!
Clive and the additional battle stage "PHOENIX GATE" will be available for early access exclusively to "Character Year 1 Pass" owners starting Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
General access will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024.
