ASUS JAPAN, Ltd. announces the " ROG Strix XG256Q " and " ROG Strix XG276Q ", gaming monitors with full HD resolution and 1ms response time, from the ROG brand for gamers. The new gaming monitors, which will go on sale on November 11, 2022 (Friday), are equipped with a tripod socket on the top of the monitor stand for mounting a camera or an additional monitor, making them highly anticipated products for distributors who want to place a camera on top of the monitor, or for those who want to add a monitor on top of the display. This is a long-awaited product.
In this article, we will introduce the new ROG Strix XG256Q and ROG Strix XG276Q.
Up to 180 hz refresh rate
The ROG Strix XG256Q and ROG Strix XG276Q monitors support refresh rates of up to180 hz and170 hz, respectively. Both monitors have refresh rates that exceed the 144 hz of typical gaming monitors, allowing for a smoother rendering experience.
Refresh rate is very important in gaming, and the higher the number, the more advantageous it is in FPS, racing games, RTS, sports titles, and so on.
ASUS Fast IPS display with 1ms response time
For sports titles, such as fighting games and FPS games, the response time is as important as the refresh rate. The ASUS FastIPS display in each monitor features ASUS Fast IPS technology, which switches the LCD elements four times faster than conventional IPS panels to achieve a GTG (Gray To Gray) 1ms response time.
This eliminates motion blur (screen blur), blurring, and smear (vertical bright lines caused by reflected light). In addition to high image quality with a contrast ratio of 1000:1, the 178-degree wide viewing angle minimizes color shift and distortion.
1/4" tripod socket on the monitor stand
The ROG Strix XG256Q and ROG Strix XG276Q monitors have a 1/4-inch tripod socket on the top of the monitor stand that can be used to attach a camera or additional displays.
The monitor has swivel and pivot functions, so after attaching a camera or additional monitor, be careful not to bump it around when using these functions !
The ROG Strix XG256Q and ROG Strix XG276Q are scheduled for release on Friday, November 11, 2022. For more details on features and specifications, please visit the ROG Strix XG256Q and ROG Strix XG276Q product pages.
