Computex Taipei 2019 is the latest technology festival in Taiwan. Just before the opening of the event, Intel announced its newest CPU for desktops, the Core i9-9900KS.
Simultaneous 5GHz operation of all cores
"Core i9-9900KS" is positioned as a higher-end version of the existing "Core i9-9900K".
The Core i9-9900KS can drive all cores at 5GHz simultaneously while the Core i9-9900K can only drive one of the eight cores at 5GHz.
Competing with AMD?
At Computex Taipei 2019 on the 27th, AMD announced its latest CPU, the Ryzen 9 3900X.
"Ryzen 9 3900X" is announced as 12core/24thread, 3.8-4.6GHz drive, 70MB cache, and is touted to be faster than Intel's Core i9-9700K, Core i9-9900K, Core i9-9920X Core i9-9900KS
The Core i9-9900KS is believed to have been announced just before Computex Taipei 2019.
