London-based technology brand Nothing has announced the domestic launch of its new flagship smartphone, the Phone (3), in Japan.
Pre-orders began on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, with sales starting at 9:00 a.m. JST on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

The Phone (3) is a flagship smartphone with a 6.67-inch display that supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
It features the characteristic Glyph matrix (micro-LED display) on the back, which can display notifications and other information using icons and pixel art.
It also includes "Glyph Toys," which allows you to enjoy simple tools and microgames on the Glyph matrix.
The Android-based Nothing OS allows you to freely customize designs and functions, such as selecting the monochrome Nothing icon pack or hiding app labels on the home screen.
You can enjoy Nothing's unique geometric design.
The processor is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, with 12GB or 16GB of RAM.
The CPU processing speed is 36% faster and the GPU graphics performance is 88% better than the previous Phone (2), providing enough power to fully enjoy even demanding 3D games.
AI features include Essential Search, which instantly finds contacts, photos, and files just by swiping on the home screen, and Flip to Record, which automatically transcribes and summarizes meetings and conversations by flipping the phone over and long-pressing the Essential Key.
It also includes Essential Space, where AI helps you store and organize information such as ideas and notes.
For camera performance, it features a 50MP wide-angle, 50MP ultra-wide-angle, and 50MP 3x telephoto sensor on the rear, and a 50MP sensor on the front.
All cameras are 50MP sensors, allowing you to take high-resolution photos no matter which camera you use.
In addition, all cameras support 4K/60fps video recording.
Other features include support for Osaifu-Keitai and IP68 water and dust resistance.
It also supports 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
The Phone (3) will be sold on nothing.tech (Nothing's official online store) starting at 124,800 yen (tax included).
