How to Play "Pokémon Shushushu!"—Feel Like a Pokémon Trainer by Throwing Monster Ball Cards
"Pokémon Shushushu!" features Pokémon cards andPoké Ball cards.
Since the Pokémon cards have numbers on them, aim for those numbers and throw the Poké Ball cards with a "shushushu" sound!
If the Poké Ball you throw lands on all the numbers on a Pokémon card, you’ll successfully catch that Pokémon.
Your score is the sum of the numbers on the Pokémon cards you’ve caught.
The player with the highest score wins!
There are all kinds of cards! Some Pokémon and Poké Balls even have special effects.
There are many different types of cards in “Pokémon Shushushu!”!
Some Pokémon trigger effects when you catch them or when they’re placed on the field.
For example, if you catch Gekkouga, you get to throw a Poké Ball one more time.
Use the Pokémon’s effects to your advantage and gain the upper hand in the game!
Plus, there are different types of Poké Ball cards.
Effects vary depending on the ball—for example, using a “Net Ball” makes it easy to catch Pokémon with a “Water” symbol!
- Hyper Ball: If it overlaps even slightly with a card marked “2,” you catch it!
- Net Ball: If it overlaps even slightly with a card marked with the “Bug” or “Water” symbols, you’ve caught it!
- Dream Ball: If it overlaps even slightly with a card marked with the “Asleep” symbol, you’ve caught it!
By using the cards’ effects, you can even pull off a last-minute comeback!
"Pokémon Shushushu!", featuring adorable Pokémon illustrations, will be released on Thursday, July 30, 2026.
It will be available at Pokémon Centers nationwide and on the Pokémon Center Online.
