Riot Games' New Fighting Game 2XKO Officially Launched! Now Available on PS5 and Xbox in Addition to PC

Riot Games officially launched the free-to-play 2v2 team-based fighting game 2XKO on January 20, 2026. In addition to PC, it has also been released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

New Free-to-Play Fighting Game 2XKO Officially Launched!

2XKO is a 2v2 fighting game that utilizes a tag-team assist format. Set in the world of League of Legends (LoL), Runeterra, it introduces streamlined controls and gameplay mechanics based on the high level of mastery, diverse player expression, and heated interpersonal battles unique to fighting games.

It has been released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in addition to PC, and it also supports cross-play and cross-progression between PC and consoles. Regardless of the play environment, a wide range of users can compete on the same stage.

Season 1 started on January 20, 2026, and the new champion, Caitlyn, was added. Along with this, the Frame Perfect skin line, themed after the competitive scene, has also appeared. A portion of the proceeds from this skin line will be used to support 2XKO tournament organizers around the world, contributing to increased prize pools and support for future tournament production and operation costs.
