Steam in the palm of your hand
Saiga NAK

Once powered on, Windows 11 setup begins and takes 10-15 minutes to complete. Launch the pre-installed Steam!

Right stick
Saiga NAK

The stick area glows when ROG Ally is running. The buttons and sticks are placed quite high up, so even those with small hands can reach the bumpers (LB and RB) and triggers (LT and RT) without difficulty.

Rear buttons
Saiga NAK

The back of ROG Ally looks like this. The right hand side has "M1" and the left hand side has "M2" macro buttons on the back to help control the game.

The ROG logo serves as a vent. The rainbow-colored diagonal lines are not lights but a surface finish.

Mysterious parts
Saiga NAK

When I was touching various things, I found this thing hidden on the back side of the outer box. There is some kind of illustration...

Simple stand
Saiga NAK

It can be used as a stand like this!

It can also be used as a stationary
game console
PR TIMES

ROG Ally will be available in the summer of 2023 with the ROG Gaming Charger Dock, which will allow for large screen output using an HDMI cable. ROG XG Mobile " will also be available to boost gaming performance. Each device is sold separately, but if you are no longer satisfied with the gameplay at hand, this is definitely something to consider!

Vertical Screen
Saiga NAK

Vertical screen can be reproduced on a desktop PC by turning the monitor or using a monitor arm. With ROG Ally, you can use it like a large screen tablet by simply tilting the unit. Don't forget to set " Windows Mark (Start Button) → Settings → Display → Rotation Lock " to Off!

microSD card support
Saiga NAK

The microSD card slot is located on the top of the unit. It supports up to UHS-II.

ROG Ally has 512GB of SSD storage, but only about 450GB is usable minus system and pre-installed apps. In recent years, game titles have tended to use more and more space, and some titles, especially open world games, require nearly 100GB of free space. Since the default 512GB SSD is a little too small, insert a microSD (XC) card to install a large number of games!

ROG Ally will be available starting June 14.

A must-have unit
Saiga NAK

Many people usually play games on their desktop PCs, but playing games on the go is inevitably a hurdle. Recently, there are more and more services that allow you to play games via the cloud, but a stable communication environment is essential... and that's where portable game consoles come in! Steam and Epic Games support cloud saving, so it's easy to share game progress with multiple devices, which also helps make portable gaming consoles useful.

ROG Ally will be available in two models with different CPUs and graphics capabilities, with the higher-end model scheduled for release on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, and the lower-end model scheduled for release after summer 2023. For more information, please visit the ROG Ally product page!
