Ichiran, the tonkotsu ramen chain immensely popular both domestically and internationally, is releasing the third cup noodle in its series, the limited-edition "Kamadare Tonkotsu," which recreates the flavor exclusive to the Ichiran Tenjin Nishidori in Fukuoka!
As a Fukuoka resident who loves ramen, I couldn't miss this.
I will promptly be reviewing the "Ichiran Kamadare Tonkotsu," released on Thursday, October 30, 2025!
Reviewing the Fukuoka Exclusive Flavor: "Ichiran Kamadare Tonkotsu"!
Saiga NAK
The newly released "Kamadare Tonkotsu" is a flavor exclusive to the Ichiran Tenjin Nishidori in Fukuoka.
Although clearly featured on the package, the sense of something special is delightful.
The barcode is styled after the Partition Booth, a symbol of Ichiran.
Attention to detail is evident even in the small parts.
Checking the Nutritional Information
The nutritional information per serving (149g) is as follows:
- Energy: 539kcal
- Protein: 15.8g
- Fat: 22.1g
- Carbohydrates: 69.4g
- Salt Equivalent: 9.8g (Noodles: 2.1g, Soup: 7.7g)
It has substantial volume, allowing you to fully enjoy the rich tonkotsu.
Regarding the salt equivalent... be prepared if you plan to drink all the soup!
Checking the Cooking Instructions
The package contains powdered and liquid soup packets, and Secret Original Sauce, a special blend of chili pepper.
I will carefully read the instructions and prepare it!
The preparation steps are as follows:
- Peel back the lid to the arrow and take out the three packets (A, B, C)
- Pour boiling water up to the inner line (approx. 430ml), cover, and warm Liquid Soup B on top of the lid
- After 4 minutes, add Powdered Soup A, followed by Liquid Soup B, and mix well
- Add Secret Original Sauce C, and it is ready
Time to Cook and Taste!

Peeling back the lid, three packets greet me.
The lack of toppings clearly conveys Ichiran's confidence in its ramen.
I remove the packets and pour hot water up to the inner line.
While warming Liquid Soup B on the lid, I wait for 4 minutes!
This is arguably the longest part.
After 4 minutes, I first add Powdered Soup A!
Next, I add the warmed Liquid Soup B.

Mixing it all up... Wow, the rich tonkotsu soup aroma wafts out!
The color is also darker than regular soup, and it looks delicious.
It stimulates my appetite.

Finally, I add the Secret Original Sauce, synonymous with Ichiran, and it's complete.
I typically eat the ramen at the restaurant at 7 times the spice level, but this had just the right amount to complement the ramen's flavor without overpowering it.
Now, time to eat!
The non-fried thin noodles have a pleasant and easy-to-eat smooth texture when swallowing!
The specialized soup delivers on its promise of profound richness and mellow flavor—it's a quality I wouldn't expect from a cup noodle.
I had thought it might be a bit heavy based on the aroma, but the light, thin noodles make it easy to keep eating.
It's incredibly delicious.
As expected of Ichiran, it was satisfying enough to make me forget the lack of ingredients.
I also want to eat the "Kamadare Tonkotsu Ramen" at the Tenjin Nishidori, so I plan to line up for it soon.
The "Ichiran Kamadare Tonkotsu" is currently available in limited quantities at Ichiran's Official Online Shop, all Ichiran stores nationwide, and select convenience and retail stores.
The price is 579 yen (tax included).
Whether you find it difficult to travel to Fukuoka to eat it or you just want to taste it again, please try this easy-to-prepare cup noodle and enjoy Fukuoka's rich tonkotsu flavor!
