Discovering the Nostalgic Official Character Demae Boy at the Nissin ToyQube Booth!
Food company Nissin, famous for Chicken Ramen and Cup Noodles, exhibited with the Nissin ToyQube booth.
At this booth, American pop artist Ron English (@ronenglish) collaborated with Nissin's official mascot character, 清仔 (Ching Chai) (known as Demae Boy in Japan), to showcase various artworks.
The booth displayed artworks and figures of Ching Chai, remade with Ron English's signature grin and distinctive color palette.
Inside the booth was a fully customized JDM-spec Supra designed by Ron English in collaboration with DPLS!
The wild grin and custom lettering design immediately catch the eye.
A giant 3D statue of Ching Chai remade by Ron English welcomed visitors.
Looking closely at Ching Chai's manic grin, not only are his canine teeth and fangs recreated, but even the facial creases and eye bags formed when smiling are meticulously sculpted.
It might be a little bit creepy...
Behind the giant statue of Ching Chai, four limited-edition print designs depicted different poses and expressions!
Titled Connection (Got You!), Power, Stay Active, and Peaceful Smile, these four pieces represent a journey from self-discovery to inner fulfillment.
Alongside the carry-on suitcase featuring the trademark crazy grin seen in Ron English's official Instagram videos...
...The booth also showcased a 15cm-tall limited-edition Ching Chai art toy!
You can admire Ching Chai striking a dynamic pose from multiple angles.
Even at a compact 15cm size, the wild grin and folds in the clothing are precisely recreated.
The packaging for this art toy features a bold silhouette shadow of Ching Chai sporting his signature grin.
The booth also displayed exclusive T-shirts created by Ron English alongside an entire wall of artworks.
Piapro Characters Gather at the Nissin VOCALOID Booth!
Next up is the Nissin VOCALOID booth!
This booth featured collaboration items and cup noodles bringing together Nissin and Piapro Characters: KAITO, MEIKO, Megurine Luka, Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, and Kagamine Len.
Piapro Characters holding ramen greeted visitors!
Furthermore, Hatsune Miku's outfit was designed with a motif reminiscent of Ching Chai's attire.
A rich lineup of collaboration items was available, including pin badges and stickers!
There were instant ramen packages featuring Hatsune Miku alongside Ching Chai, as well as collaboration Cup Noodles with Piapro Characters!
These adorable products make you want to display them as collectibles rather than eat them.
Registering for a membership at Nissin Food Experience Hall earned visitors a large collaboration paper bag and a collaboration cheki print!
A great souvenir to remember visiting the Nissin VOCALOID booth.
The booth offered exclusive collectible trading cards unique to the Nissin x Piapro Characters collaboration.
Out of all seven designs, one is a rare chase card!
The booth also sold venue-exclusive collection box sets, with the set contents as follows:
