"Let's have fun in Chayamachi in cosplay!" was the concept behind this cosplay event held in collaboration with acosta! x YUBIWAZA.
We are covering the YUBIWAZA CUP, but we are not only satisfied with e-sports tournaments, games and Yogibo, of course we also covered the "Umeda Chayamachi Cosplay Festival"!
The area around MBS Chayamachi Plaza and Umeda Loft, the venue of YUBIWAZA CUP, was filled with people cosplaying.

How did you get started in cosplay?
I had the opportunity to interview TADAO-san, who played Haku, and Kanata-san, who played Howl, for a bit.
The two have been cosplaying for about 5 months, and the kicker was that they wanted to do it because of their love of anime.
They said they were very happy when they were approached by children because Ghibli is widely known and appreciated.
While we were interviewing them, a Hayao Miyazaki layer happened to pass by, so we were able to take three shots of him.
