About the "Anime x Game Jam" Project

ANiC-JAPAN公式サイト

Game engines have revolutionized the animation industry through their use, but at the same time, they can be difficult to operate. The "Anime x Game Jam supported by Unity" was held from July 2 (Sat.) to July 10 (Sun.), 2022, led by the members of ANiC (NPO Animation Industry Innovation Conference), which was established to mitigate this problem.

The theme was "Reincarnation" and the participants created 15-second animations using a game engine.

At this year's "Anime x Game Jam Kyoto Meeting," the participants will look back on the previous event and exchange opinions on the charms and issues that emerged from the previous event, with a view to holding future events in Kyoto.
