While community gaming tournaments are held daily, the "German Embassy esports cup Japan 2023 Diplomacy meets eSports" to be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, will be hosted by the German Embassy! The winner will receive 30,000 Riot Points and the right to play an exhibition match against a professional team from Eintrachtesport (@Eintrachtesport )!
The final will be held offline at Shibuya e-Stadium in Tokyo on January 6!
The tournament will be a 16-team tournament with a maximum of 16 teams. The four teams that win the online qualifier on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM will advance to the offline final to be held at Shibuya e-Stadium in Tokyo on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 0:00 PM.
The "German Embassy eSports CUP Japan 2023 Diplomacy meets esports" will be hosted by Sascha (@sascha348 ), a radio DJ from Germany. Live commentary will be provided by Eyes (@eyes1015 ) and Revol (@krevol ). Shakespeare's Miyu Otomo (@miyu00tomo ) will take the stage as a guest speaker to liven up the competition.
The competition will be broadcast on the German Embassy's official YouTube channel " GermanyInJapan. Those who meet the tournament entry qualifications, such as being between 15 and 18 years old, are encouraged to enter!
