“Gran Turismo World Series 2024” Begins April 17, With a Live Event in Tokyo This September

The world championship for Gran Turismo 7, the Gran Turismo World Series 2024, has been announced!
Players who rank high in the online qualifiers, which are open to everyone, will advance to live events held with a physical audience.

The “Gran Turismo World Series 2024,” which determines the champion of Gran Turismo 7, finally begins!
Anyone who owns the PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 version of Gran Turismo 7 can participate through the in-game "Sport" mode.

Wednesday, April 17, 2024, marks the start of the online qualifiers for the "Nations Cup," where players race representing their home country or region.
Six rounds of qualifiers will be held over three weeks, and the top 12 players will be invited to four live events.
In this year's “Gran Turismo World Series 2024,” the competition will be held as an individual event, and the annual world champion will be determined by the cumulative points leading up to the "World Finals."

Furthermore, starting Wednesday, May 8, 2024, the "Manufacturers Cup" will also be held, where players race representing their favorite manufacturer.
In addition to World Series partners TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, Mazda, and Genesis, the top 9 manufacturers from the online qualifier rankings will participate to compete in each event and the World Finals.

The schedule for the three rounds and the World Finals of the “Gran Turismo World Series 2024” live events is as follows:

• Round 1: Montreal, Canada - Saturday, July 6, 2024
• Round 2: Prague, Czech Republic - Saturday, August 10, 2024
• Round 3: Tokyo, Japan - Saturday, September 28, 2024
• World Finals: To be announced at a later date

The events for each round will be broadcast on Gran-Turismo.com and the YouTube channel GRAN TURISMO TV.

Deciding the competitors for all events at an early stage will give fans a real opportunity to get to know our talented drivers and follow them through the season.
