Kanagawa Prefecture revealed event details for eSports Meetup in Kanagawa, a collaborative project with VIETNAM FESTA in KANAGAWA 2026! The event will host hands-on gaming booths and mini-tournaments, allowing everyone from adults to children to easily experience esports with schedule details as follows:

Esports Mini-Tournaments
Kanagawa Prefecture will host esports mini-tournaments open to all attendees. The first 10 participants per session (planned) can join to earn great prizes, with tournament details as follows:
- Schedule: From 1:30 PM / From 2:45 PM / From 4:00 PM
- How to Participate: Staff will distribute numbered admission tickets at reception starting 1 hour before each session
Serving as tournament MC is Kanagawa native Kaori Horiuchi (@Kaori_Kaotan).
She is an active talent and caster working as a gaming event MC, interpreter, and streamer!
Leveraging her language skills in English and more, she continues to expand her activities as an MC for international esports tournaments.
Esports Demo Booths
The venue will feature hands-on booths with game titles that anyone can enjoy, regardless of age, nationality, or gaming experience. Attendees can also try out the Flex Controller, which eliminates the need for complex inputs, with booth details as follows:
- Hours: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Featured Titles: Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival, CHICK POP!, Saikoro Bingo
One of the playable titles, Saikoro Bingo, is a bingo game utilizing a dice-shaped controller developed by Kanagawa Institute of Technology.
Combine the numbers rolled on three dice to create equations matching the numbers on your bingo card, aiming to achieve bingo faster than your opponent.
eSports Meetup in Kanagawa offers a welcoming space where anyone can casually enjoy gaming and esports.
