Four kinds of sake! As usual, the letters alone have a great impact, but let's try them in order!
First, "PINK - Pink Sake"!
- Genre: Sake

PINK - Pink Sake " is made with clean water and locally grown rice in Tochigi Prefecture! Therefore, we use flower yeast developed from strawberry flowers to give it a sweet and sour taste and a lovely pink finish. No coloring agent is used!
Kiyoaki (@kiyoaki_gohan ) was our model for this photo shoot! Please visit our YouTube channel " Kiyoaki Shokudo " as well!
It is slightly sweet and sour, with a hint of strawberry on the nose! It has a lingering aftertaste, but it is not too sweet. It is like a sake from eastern Japan, crisp and easy to drink. The bottle is stylish and pink, so it would make a perfect gift!
The most shocking "Surprising Umeshu" ever!
- Genre: Umeshu
- Alcohol content: 10%.
- Produced by: Tanaka Shuzo-ten (Ibaraki Prefecture)
- Retail price: 1,490 yen (tax included)
- Scheduled release date: Wednesday, June 26, 2024
The next one is " SurprisinglySour Plum Wine." It is said to be "a surprisingly sour plum wine with the ultimate in sourness " for those who are not satisfied with ordinary plum wine.
I'm nervous...
Sour... !!!!
The aroma is alcoholic, but it's 10%, so it's very easy to drink. It is really sour, but it is not unpleasantly sour, and has a strong ume (plum) taste. It's not a bad thing, but it has a strong ume flavor!
The sake is the food, "Eating Buttermilk Sake."
- Genre: Liqueur
- Alcohol percentage: 5%.
- Producer: Kitaoka Honten (Nara)
- Retail price: 1,490 yen (tax included)
- Scheduled release date: July 10, 2024 (Wednesday)
As one would expect from Kurando, a series of high-impact sakes followed...! The next one is " Eating Buttermilk Sake." It is an alcoholic beverage made by shaking buttermilk pudding, which is solid in the bottle, to break it up and drink it. The manufacturer, Kitaoka Honten, also sells " 9:00 p.m. Chocolate Pudding " and " The World of An Buttermilk P udding" from Kurando.
The aroma of butter is amazing...ohhhh, so sweet! The immoral collaboration of alcohol and butter is the best. It's like an adult pudding. It tastes like pudding with rum.
It has a mild taste with a hint of saltiness. Sake and pudding go well together. I feel like I can get drunk despite the 5% alcohol content.
Sake that becomes "adult French toast" when dipped in bread
- Genre: Liqueur
- Alcohol content: 5%.
- Manufacturer: Kitaoka Honten (Nara)
- Retail price: 1,490 yen (tax included)
- Scheduled release date: Wednesday, July 10, 2024
The last one is " Sake that becomes French toast for adults." It was developed on the premise of pouring the thick and creamy sake over the bread, so you can enjoy a new sake experience.
When I tried it as it is... it's sweet! Drink sake over bread? Eat it? How is that allowed...?
Bread absorbs so much water.
Oh! I see! It's a super easy dessert! I think the quality is as good as that of a high-class restaurant. It would be exciting to serve it at a home party. It's sweet, but it also has a strong alcoholic flavor, so be careful not to overeat! It is delicious on its own, but if you add cinnamon, ice cream, mint, etc., it could be served at a restaurant. I'm full of ideas for new arrangements...!
