Sega Corporation announced that it will hold the final tournament for the official pro tournament "GigaCrysta Presents Puyo Puyo Grand Prix 2025 2nd" starting on Friday, October 18, 2024.
The winner of this tournament will be awarded a prize of 1 million yen and a spot in the official Sega "Puyo Puyo Grand Prix 2025 Final," which is scheduled to be held in March 2025.

The qualifying league for "GigaCrysta Presents Puyo Puyo Grand Prix 2025 2nd" will begin on Friday, October 18, 2024, and the final tournament will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024.
In the qualifiers, participating players will be divided into eight blocks to compete in a league. The player who comes in first place in each block will advance to the final tournament.
In the final tournament, the winning player will be awarded a prize of 1 million yen, as well as an entry to the "Puyo Puyo Grand Prix 2025 Final," which is scheduled to be held in March 2025.
The final tournament will also be available for viewing via an internet live broadcast, so stay tuned for further announcements.

Tournament Format ・Qualifiers: Held online
Participating pro players are divided into eight groups to compete in a league. The top player from each group advances to the finals based on the number of wins.
Winning condition: First to 10 wins

A double-elimination tournament will be held with the eight players who advanced from the qualifiers.

Awards Winner: 1 million yen / Runner-up: 300,000 yen / Top 4: 100,000 yen
The winner and runner-up will be granted entry to the "Puyo Puyo Grand Prix 2025 Final."
