" Shadowverse Fes 2026 " was held at Makuhari Messe on Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, 2026.
In this post, we’ll introduce the booths related to Shadowverse EVOLVE!
No need to bring anything—there are plenty of events where you can play "Shadowverse EVOLVE" to your heart’s content!
When you think of Shadowverse, you probably think of the digital card game, but it’s actually available as a physical card game as well.
A special corner was set up for it at Shadowverse Fes 2026.

First up, the stunning illustrations—a hallmark of the digital card game Shadowverse—were on display as actual physical cards.
This was sure to be a hit not only with players but also with collectors.
Let’s start here! Beginner’s Workshop
Compared to digital card games, which are generally free-to-play, physical card games can feel a bit intimidating to try out.
In fact, although I knew about Shadowverse EVOLVE, I had never actually played it myself.
I suppose the idea is to encourage even people like me to give it a try.
Although participation was by lottery, a beginner’s workshop was being held.
Since it was a good opportunity, I decided to give the workshop a try.
This is what the board looks like before the battle begins.
The stack of black sleeves on the right is the main deck.
The stack of blue sleeves on the left contains the token cards.
Token cards include cards like “Knight” and “Ghost” that appear as a result of follower effects.
If you’re a digital card game player, you’ll probably have no trouble imagining this.
The stack of cards in red sleeves is the Evolve deck.
It replicates the “Evolution” mechanic—a hallmark of the digital card game Shadowverse—by having a separate deck dedicated to it.
Also, while it’s hard to tell from the image, I was surprised by how thick the cards are compared to those in well-known physical card games.
During the workshop, the rules and other details were explained to us with the utmost care.
Just like the design of the Evolve Deck mentioned earlier, I listened with admiration , thinking, “They’ve really done a great job of translating the unique features of the digital card game Shadowverse into a physical card game!”
On my way home from the event, I found myself checking the tournament schedule at a local card shop while riding the train.
By the way, I received plenty of participation prizes.
The storage box was especially appreciated…!
I even got to play some casual battles and Evolve Poker!

There was also a dedicated area for Casual Battles and other matches, set up like the free battle spaces you often see at card game shops.
Among the events was “Evolve Poker,” which featured rules completely different from the usual game.
It was a full-scale setup using specially designed coins.
Participants in each event could also take part in the “Thrilling Raffle,” where they had a chance to win rare cards as grand prizes!
"Shadowverse Fes 2026" was a fantastic opportunity to spark interest not only among existing players but also among those who hadn’t tried Shadowverse EVOLVE before.
Now, step out of the digital world and battle in the real-life card game —Shadowverse!
