Universal Studios Japan has announced that it will hold an event to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the opening of " Super Nintendo World. The event will be held from March 18, 2026 (Wednesday) to January 11, 2027 (Monday).

5th Anniversary Decoration
A limited edition 5th Anniversary Superstar-specific cake will be available at Starplaza. The entrance to Mario's world will be decorated with special decorations along with a BIG and special cake only available now.
Meet & Greet
In addition to Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Kinopio, and Donkey Kong, Yoshi will appear for a limited time. You can enjoy this special meet and greet only now, and with the power-up band, you may even have more fun...?
A great adventure in the Mushroom Kingdom! Exciting Star Hunt March
A special 5th Anniversary-only march event. Join Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and the others on an adventure through the Mushroom Kingdom in search of scattered Superstars.
An area rental campaign will be held!
To celebrate the 5th anniversary of "Super Nintendo World," an area rental campaign will be held. You can participate in the campaign if you apply and win the campaign of the target company. The invitation date and time is Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 20:00 to 22:00.
