Universal Studios Japan announced that it will hold an event to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the opening of Super Nintendo World.
It will be held from Wednesday, March 18, 2026, to Monday, January 11, 2027.

Super Nintendo World, which opened on March 18, 2021, marks its 5th anniversary this year.
An event to commemorate the 5th anniversary will be held from Wednesday, March 18, 2026, to Monday, January 11, 2027.
5th Anniversary Decoration
A 5th anniversary limited Super Star specification cake will appear at Star Plaza.
Along with the large and special cake available only now, the entrance to the world of Mario will be decorated with special ornaments.
Meet & Greet
In addition to Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, and Donkey Kong, Yoshi appears for a limited time.
You can enjoy special greetings available only now, and if you have a Power-Up Band, the fun might expand even further...?
Great Adventure in the Mushroom Kingdom! Waku Waku Star Hunt March
A special 5th anniversary limited march event.
Together with Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and others, you can adventure through the Mushroom Kingdom to find scattered Super Stars.
Area Private Rental Campaign Confirmed!
To commemorate the 5th anniversary of Super Nintendo World, an area private rental campaign is confirmed to be held.
You can participate by applying for and winning the campaigns held by the following participating companies:
- Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Co., Ltd.
- B-R 31 Ice Cream Co., Ltd.
- Nippon Life Insurance Company
- NTT DOCOMO, INC.
- Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation
- Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd.
The invitation date and time is Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. In addition, limited original food and goods commemorating the 5th anniversary will be announced at a later date.
