Capcom has released the first set of exhibition details for the " Tokyo Game Show 2026 " (hereinafter "TGS 2026"), which will be held at Makuhari Messe from Thursday, September 17, 2026, through Monday, September 21, 2026 (a national holiday).
The on-site booth will feature a hands-on demo area where visitors can play a wide range of unreleased titles.
In addition, a variety of content will be offered, including live-streamed online programs and the launch of the “e-Capcom TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026 SPECIAL STORE,” a campaign offering priority access to game demos.
Capcom Unveils First Round of Exhibition Details for "TGS2026"! Information on Hands-On Demos for Highly Anticipated New Titles and Other Details Revealed
The physical booth will feature demo stations where visitors can experience highly anticipated upcoming titles such as " Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance " and " Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen."
Plus, participants will receive exclusive giveaways for each title, so be sure to stop by!
Playable Titles and Experience Details
Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance
This title marks its world-first playable debut.
Three different quests are available where you can experience new actions utilizing the new "Boost Bracer" feature!
Please note that numbered tickets to participate in the demo will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis near the booth.
The first is the “ New Monster Hunt Quest,” which supports both single-player and multiplayer.
Set in the new floating field “Ruins of the Clouds,” you’ll take on the challenge of hunting an unknown flying monster.
You can also freely explore the new field by riding “Secreto.”
The second is the " Revived Ancient Dragon Hunt Quest," which supports both single-player and multiplayer modes.
Your goal is to hunt down the Ancient Dragons making their return in this title.
Details on the monsters to be defeated will be revealed during “Capcom Spotlight | TGS 2026,” scheduled to air on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 11:00 PM.
The third is the single-player-only " Chatakabra Hunt Quest "
This quest includes a tutorial for Monster Hunter Wilds beginners through the hunt for Chatakabra.
Additionally, a limited number of “Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance Microfiber Handkerchiefs” will be given away as a promotional gift to those who try the demo!

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen
Be among the first to experience the action and adventures with your Pawn in this title, which is making its first playable appearance in Japan!
In the first quest, “Encounter with the Unfathomable Dragon,” you can experience the strange occurrences unfolding in the new area, “ Norgan.”
The available jobs are Fighter, Archer, Mage, Thief, Sorcerer, and Warrior.
This content is recommended for players who have already played “Dragon’s Dogma 2.”
In the second quest, “Battle to the Death Against Fimbul,” you’ll take on the “Ice Dragon Fimbul” in the snow-covered lands of Norgan.
As with the first quest, the available jobs are the same six: Fighter, Archer, Mage, Thief, Sorcerer, and Warrior.
This is a high-difficulty quest aimed at players who have thoroughly played through the previous game and are confident in their skills.
In the third quest, “Griffin Hunt” xml-ph-0001@deepl.internal, you’ll set out to defeat a “Griffin” in the main story area.
The available jobs are Fighter, Archer, Mage, and Thief—four in total.
This quest is ideal for those experiencing the series for the first time.

The exhibition will also feature costumes used during the filming of the movie "Street Fighter: The Movie," as well as official merchandise available at movie theaters nationwide!

A "Shooting Range" created through a collaboration between Tokyo Marui—the world’s No. 1 airsoft gun manufacturer—and "Resident Evil" will be featured at the booth!
