The " Tokyo Game Show 2026 " was held from Thursday, September 17, to Sunday, September 20, 2026.
In this report, we’ll take a look at the " Capcom " booth, which continues to produce highly anticipated titles such as " Resident Evil: Requiem " and " Pragmata "!
"Capcom" Booth Report! Packed with Must-See Titles from "Biohazard" to "Street Fighter VI" to "Monster Hunter"
Let’s start with the “Resident Evil” area!
2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the “Resident Evil” series!
Special artwork commemorating the occasion was on display.
I spotted the gun shop “KENDO” inside the area!
The store is lined with Tokyo Marui’s Resident Evil collaboration airsoft guns.
They’re all so cool that I can’t take my eyes off them.
There’s a shooting range within the area.
You’ll be shooting at zombies!
Lock onto your target with a sharp gaze and fire!
You successfully hit the zombie with a bullet, and the experience is over.
When you participate in the training, you’ll receive the zombie target you actually shot, as well as a “Resident Evil × Tokyo Marui 2027 Collaboration Calendar” as a souvenir.
I’m also looking forward to the release of the three titles in the “Resident Evil” Remake Series.
Street Fighter 6
Next up is the Street Fighter 6 area!
I spotted the key visual for the movie "Street Fighter: The Movie" and the costumes for Ryu, Chun-Li, and Ken.
Plus, there’s a life-size Zangief panel!
You can’t help but take a picture of this.
The merchandise section was packed with fan-favorite items such as acrylic stands, stickers, and sticker sets.
An invitation to the World Warrior Tournament—a key item in the story—was on display.
Since this item is said to be the catalyst for the story’s turbulent events, be sure to watch the movie to see how it all unfolds!
Monster Hunter
Next, we visited the Monster Hunter area.
We’ll continue our coverage without getting too caught up in the exciting illustrations for*Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance* (hereinafter *MHWA*), scheduled for release in 2027, and *Monster Hunter Outlanders *.
Inside the area, hunters were flocking to the MHWA hands-on demo area, all vying to be first.
They were completely immersed in the setting of their new adventure.
I got to experience MHWA firsthand.
The immersive hunting quests had me trembling with excitement.
There was also a demo area for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of “Monster Hunter Wilds,” set to be released on Friday, December 4, 2026.
The exhibition area will feature the following items from the game...
- Schvalka Alpha Series
- Arshbladra
- Hope Blade
- Hope Hammer
...and other items, and many visitors were taking commemorative photos in front of the exhibits.
I also received a “Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance” microfiber handkerchief and a “Hunt However You Like” sticker as promotional items.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword
I headed over to the area for the much-talked-about " Onimusha: Way of the Sword," which had just been released on Friday, September 4, 2026.
At the demo station, a challenge event was underway: if you defeated “Ipu·Furai” on the “Ken-geki” difficulty level within the time limit, you’d receive an original T-shirt.
Microfiber handkerchiefs featuring designs of Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Genzaburō were being distributed.
Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen
We went behind the scenes at the “ Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen ” area, set for release on Friday, October 9, 2026!
Perhaps because this was Japan’s first-ever playable demo, the demo area was packed with people!
Players selected quests based on their skill levels and set out to defeat their targets.
I received a promotional microfiber handkerchief and a sticker with a slightly quirky design.
Pragmata
Off to the Pragmata area!
I snapped a photo of the adorable Diana, who was holding a card celebrating over 2.5 million copies sold worldwide.
I received a Mega Man collaboration handkerchief.
Mega Man Dual Override
In the " Mega Man: Dual Override " area—scheduled for release in spring 2027—hands-on demos were available.
Many Mega Man fans lined up to be among the first to experience the latest title.
Inside the area were panels featuring the popular characters Blues and Twinkle Girl.
Try out the “Override”—a new feature unique to this game—on the “Twinkle Girl” stage!
Use this temporary power-up to wipe out enemies.
The Mega Man and Blues figures on display were absolutely awesome.
Plus, a 1/1-scale Rock Buster was on display.
I was completely captivated by its beautiful curves.
I received yet another microfiber handkerchief and some stickers.
It looks like I won’t be short on handkerchiefs for a while.
Collaboration Merchandise Corner
Finally, let’s take a peek at the collaboration merchandise area!
A "Devil May Cry 5" Dante figure that’s the epitome of cool.
The texture of the leather coat is simply irresistible.
Next to it is the Red Orb.
It might be kind of cute...
Collaboration merchandise with various companies, including BE@RBRICK, Coco Ichibanya, and Seiko, was on display.
The embroidery and distressed details scattered throughout look incredibly realistic and cool.
I also spotted products from the collaboration with Secretlab.
