The City of Niigata has announced that it will exhibit at the Business Days of the “Tokyo Game Show 2026,” to be held at Makuhari Messe from Thursday, September 17, to Monday, September 21 (a national holiday), 2026.
The city will showcase the appeal of Niigata through exhibits such as the "Niigata City Bus Center Battle Royale," a battle royale game set in Fortnite Creative.

Niigata City has announced that, following last year’s participation, it will exhibit at the Business Days of the “ Tokyo Game Show 2026.”
The city aims to foster a hub for the gaming industry—which enjoys immense popularity, particularly among young people—and to create employment opportunities where creators can thrive.

At the booth, the city will exhibit jointly with Riparia Co.,Ltd. and Beatbap Co., Ltd., the developers of “Niigata City Bus Center Battle Royale,” a Battle Royale game set in Fortnite Creative.
The city plans to highlight the appeal of doing business in Niigata.
The city aims to leverage its strength—a large student population studying games, CG, illustration, and design—to attract game-related companies to the area.
