The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) has announced the outline of the " Virtual Edo - Tokyo Project, " which aims to convey the diverse cultural and industrial attractions of Tokyo and Edo to people in Japan and abroad. Using the metaverse platform " cluster " operated by Cluster Corporation, a variety of contents will be developed in the metaverse over a one-month period from January 18 (Thursday) to February 12 (Monday), 2024.

The "Virtual Edo - Tokyo Project" organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is an event aimed at using the metaverse to communicate the charms of Tokyo to people in Japan and abroad 100 days before the opening of "SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024".
The event will start with an opening event by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Sayuri Matsumura, followed by live music performances by VTubers Ruri Asano and MaiR. A month of learning about Tokyo and Edo through experiences unique to the Metaverse will begin!

Fashion leader Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, stylist and costume designer Kumiko Iijima, and actor/TV personality Akira Kato will discuss Tokyo's youth fashion. There will also be content that allows you to experience the space with the performers!

Discover the charm of VR performers

This is a special event to reconfirm the appeal of performances by dancers and calligraphers who are active in the virtual space with the MCs. Attention will be focused on methods unique to virtual space that cannot be expressed in the real world!
The "Virtual Edo - Tokyo Project" sponsored by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will start on January 18, 2024 (Thursday). During the project period, events such as a virtual Edo tour and Tokyo job experience in the metaverse will be held at SusHi Tech Square in Yurakucho, Tokyo.
